Nom Nom Eateries & Wine Bar – trendy hotspot with a variety of winter warming specials

Nom Nom Eateries & Wine Bar

Nom Nom Eateries & Wine Bar is a sister property of the Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate. It opened its doors in Somerset West this past January and has since fast become a favorite amongst the Helderberg community and city slickers alike.

Positioned on a corner, right in the middle of the small town, the chic and quirky atmosphere compliments the aesthetic well with a cosy fireplace and pastel decor hues.

Culinary master, Sebastian Smith, concocted the colorful menu with six dining categories to choose from: Brunch, Nibbles, Breads, Light, Hungry and Sweet. All of which accentuate Nom Nom’s tailor-made cuisine experience. The foodie fare is often curated specifically to compliment the Benguela Cove wine range. Each bottle carries the stamp of its cool origin, bringing the essence of the farm to Nom Nom’s doorstep.

This trendy hotspot comes with a variety of winter warming specials. Guests can brush up on their selfie game with the Soup, Sip & Selfie promotion running from Tuesdays to Saturdays. The chef’s team will prepare a daily soup accentuated with the sommelier’s choice of wine for only R75. Share your selfie with @NomNomEateries with the tags #soupsipselfie, #winterwarmers, and #BenguelaCove and stand the chance to win a case of wine every month.

Alternatively, drop in on Wine Wednesdays where guests can indulge in a cheese and charcuterie platter for two, including a bottle of Benguela Cove Pinot Noir 2015 for only R290.
For a weekend comfort food treat, Friday Pie -Day sees the Pie of the Day paired with a glass of the in-house expert’s wine recommendation at R95. For the hungry patrons amongst yourselves, the lamb shank and truffle mayo is an absolute must try.
