IS Art Gallery moved into the charming ‘old world’ space next to Le Quartier Français four years ago to establish Franschhoek centre’s first truly contemporary South African Art gallery.
A year later they established the sculpture garden, behind the gallery, in the herb garden of the world renowned restaurant of Chef Margot Janse, The Tasting Room. Over the years the gallery has had such success that it has now grown out of its home at Le Quartier Français and is moving across the road to 11 Huguenot Street (corner of Berg Street).
The sculptor Kobus La Grange will feature in the first exhibition in the new space on Sunday the 11th of May. The telephone number (021 8762071) and contact details of the gallery will remain the same.
